Jo Gunn RIP????

I don't know about the company being in or out of business, but when it comes to well built, well designed, efficient antenna designs, Jo Gunn antennas were definitely
well built.

YUP! You could pretty much smell it every time you picked up a Jo Gunn manual or brochure.
Lol yes. I called him once and asked how he got his gain claims and how he came up with the "audio gain" and he cussed at me and said something about "bullshit ham radio antenna theory dont apply to cb" and hung up on me. Lmao

I was never a fan of joe gunn but heard some on the air hammering real well. Conditions played a big part I’m sure and they were not known for good rejection but sturdy they were. I’m sorry the guy is dead but as far as running one I’m real happy with my maco 5 element and it’s been up 10 years in some killer wind up high on a ridge with no problems. I would always say better get maco!
