Thanks to you, BJ radionut, and everyone else that answered the call of a fellow member. The cure to the call was right but, as you and others have stated, the price list is enormous.

Hey Gary, Been along time. How have you been? I really enjoyed reading your 6 meter project thread, reminded me of when I did my 220 some years back. Did you manage to get those vacuum realys installed? good work:)

I keep odd hours, too bad that communication at our distance is difficult outside of 75M.

How did you find WorldWide Radio Forum?:

I've always seem to be drawn to radios. I started repairing old discarded tube type radios and TV's in my early teen's. I got my first CB at age 13 and that quickly grew to avid shortwave listener from equipment I repaired.
I obtained my first FCC license as a "Novice" in 1979.
    My first callsign was KA0FNB.
I upgraded to Technician, then General Class by 1984.
    I requested callsign W9FNB in 1999.
I still enjoy building most of my own Antennas. I also still enjoy restoring old tube type radio gear and the occasional RF amplifier.
I also Collect Sportscards, NASCAR Die-cast plus Autographs and sports memorabilia.
