    ive got a general lee tx is fine rx works but when a strong signal come in the meter pegs out and wont recieve but you can key the mic and everything is back to normal until a strong signal comes in

    i have a new road king radio. it is one with the surface mounted chips, and the receive has got real low,i cant find any schematic for it does anyone have a idea what to do. I changed the audio chip,and the caps close to it but didn't help

    new connex 3300HP

    I found the problem even though it was new and the finals were new. they were bad. I checked them with a peak transistor checker and they checked good but they were low. So I changed them and now im back to full power.

    I have a new connex 3300 right out of the box . will not dead key but 5 watts and only swing about 10 watts what should I do

    ive got a brand new general lee just took it out of the box. It has no modulation on low power,ive checked the pots for low power . It keys up fine got good carrier on low power but no modulation.It works fine on hi power,got good modulation on hi power.but no mod on low power.
