The RF #32 is off. Should it be set to something else. Its squelching, but just no bars.

I dont know what happen, but one day the radio quite squelching. It transmits and receives good, but it not very loud. I only get about two bars when squelched and no squelch sound. I haven't a clue as to what happen or what I did. Could someone help please.
