    Just curious... did u think that going hi-fi was worth the effort and cost?

    I'm an old tube guy myself.. IMO there's nothing quite like plate modulation.

    Its fun to experiment with....and there are different ways of doing it.....and as far as effort and cost...that would be a personal choice......personally I am back to using my Sonars/Trams/Brownings with D104s and EV banana mic.....the studio mic hangs in its boom collecting dust.
