Thanks for the information. I will have to try that one out. The noise primarily comes from the little EL Converter behind the meter but there is a bit of it bleeding through the speakers so I will give that a shot and see if that works.

Looks like it was removed but I did locate the EL behind the meter and it's definitely the culprit. So now that we know the wiring is removed, how do I silence it? It's mounted on a U shaped circuit board on the back on the meter. Any way to remove it without screwing up anything?
