None of these apps are available in the Android Marketplace...sad face
Although, I did find DroidSat (for satellite tracking) and MorseCoder (self-explanatory).
UPDATE: DroidSat fails completely on the Motorola Cliq (no review).
MorseCoder is a simple no frills app. Pros: It can...
I've noticed on the page that his tech notes jump from 5 to 7. For those of you interested, the missing #6 is here: "Dealing With AM Broadcast Band Interference to
Your Receiver"
So, I bought one of these and it finally arrived today. It doesn't work at all for any on my or my roommates radios. Yaesu VX-6 and 7, and Icom IC-T90A. None of the four sides will fit any of the nuts on these radios. I'm disappointed but it was only $8.
I'm very new myself and I've learned to listen for a minute or so before transmitting on an unfamiliar frequency. You're already a step above me going into the HF range, but remember to stay within your privileges. As a Tech you can only use 28.000 to 28.300 MHz for RTTY and data (packet), and...
I had no idea Leesville had a radio club. I used to live in Anacoco a few years back. My Father still lives there so if I ever come down to visit, I'll have to get on the air and say hi.
Thanks for the .PDF and instructions Moleculo. I tried my hand at making a dual bander for working satellites and this is what I came up with.
The driving elements are solid copper wire and the reflectors and directors are from a 50' roll of aluminum; both I picked up at Lowe's. Also got...
Thanks GLR, I got an email back from "George" and he told me my problem was that I need to put UT, instead of Utah. ...Really?!
It wasn't the only problem, but I was able to futs with the site and finally get it to go through.
I did also find it on the competitors website...
Is there another site or place I can find this tool. I've tried repeatedly to order this and keep getting errors on the website. I've emailed the company with no reply yet. For some reason I get:

Nice to hear. I did also buy W1MED's VX-7 (in the SwapShop) so I'll have a choice on using either a single or dual VFO HT. I also plan on making a dual band Yagi, much like the Arrow antenna you used. I figure it will be cheaper and I'll have the satisfaction of making my own antenna.
Does anyone know of or have any schematics or instructions for building HF or Microwave Receivers/transceivers. I'm especially interested in 10GHz. I hear there's a lot of increasing activity on this band and not a lot of power is needed (10-100mw).
Oh man, that video was awesome! I've definitely got to get that antenna and try it. Now is something like this limited to a dual tuner radio like the VX-8 or can it be done with my VX-6 which is only a single tuner?
Wow, the first time I hear this brand I thought it was going to be another Chinese knock-off. But after this review and knowing a friend that has one they sound pretty respectable given the price.
