I would like to see a Memory Bank system added like on the VX-8. Why they left it off the 350 is anybody’s guess.

As soon as I installed my software it search and installed the update. It is so much nicer to be able the radio with my laptop. Life is so much easier.

I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem but APRS beaconing is hit or miss with my 350. I followed all the instructions that everyone has posted and my unit will not beacon when it is scheduled too. I tried intervals, smart-beaconing and even manual mode. Sometime I will get TX errors...

I would like to know what else they possibly fixed with the unit. I'm in no rush to send mine in yet if there are other bugs still being discovered. I'll wait awhile that way when I send it in; they can correct all the problems.

So did they indicate that they actually fixed something? I still wish they would add some kind of memory management like on ALL there other radios. Keep us updated.

I'll give it a try. Today I went on a road trip with APRS on the right side again. About halfway into my 40 mile trip the static interference returned like in the video and the signal was unable to transmit. I will try the left side next time but I should be able to use either side.

Thats the same problems I was having with mine. I sent it into Yaseu to have them look at it.

I don't have the GPS module yet so I am unable to test it out myself but from yours and the other reviewers post I believe it might be a problem with all the units unless someone else says it's working for them. I uploaded my install picks in my album today. I set it up so everything is easy to...

Lets just hope that is a firmware update and you don't have to send the unit in to Yaesu.

I'm using the proclip system. This way I'm not drilling into my dash. I added a different connector to my radio which allows me to remove it quickly and take it indoors at night. The clip works great becauses there is room for the GPS unit.

I just finished installing the FTM-350. So far it's still working great.
