Mikes channel board info?

I wonder why there are very few good techs left? If a tech is not busy, it's because he isn't good. If he is busy he is an a hole for taking so long and ignoring non paying clients. If he likes little kids, he doesn't deserve to have the buisiness. If he is none of those, he is smart and keeps it a hobby because it isn't worth the drama.

Anyways, who is this Mark guy?

Unit 194.

I have no connection to Mike's shop, but i do know that he doesn't make his videos in chronological order. he makes videos, and then uploads what he wants later, so there is no telling exactly when a certain video was made.

With regards to the channel board video, obviously it was made recently.
However, i do not think it's fair to assume that just because he found time to make that video, that he doesn't care about getting customers' radios back to them.

Did you watch the video?
in it, he admits that he can't keep up with all the emails he gets in a day.
They are in the hundreds.

I will say that it does sound like your radio may have gotten put on the back burner and/or forgotten about, but that doesn't mean he is ignoring you.

knowing how many emails he gets each day, you might want to start emailing him every single day using the same title. something like "where is my radio? 1" and then keep going up in the numbers.
doing this may cause him to see your message at the top of his page and get back to you on your radio.

Mike does not use this forum, so none of your efforts here are doing you any good in getting your radio back.

to answer the OP's question; these boards are still in the development phase, and are being tested for bugs and such.

i don't have any knowledge of when they will be available, but if i had to guess, i would say its a couple of months away or more.

Lets see Mike has had my radio since August and he told me in late September that I should have my radio back in a few days. I have been e-mailing him several times a week since November and none of those e-mails have been answered, so if that isn't being ignored then what is?

If he's that damn busy that he can't respond to his e-mails then he probably shouldn't be accepting mail-in repairs and/or producing self-serving YouTube videos until he gets caught up with his current workload.

you're entitled to feel as ignored as you like, just as you are free to opine on what a business owner should and should not be doing with their free time.

I'm not here to defend Mike, and my only goal here is to help you get your radio back.

I still don't think you are being ignored any more than any other person who emails Mike and doesn't get a response.
He has stated that he is 4 to 5 months behind on radio work. that could mean that your radio would just now be getting to the bench.

I understand the frustration, which is why im suggesting that you start emailing him EVERY DAY. not just a few times a week at random times.
think about it; if he is not scanning through all the emails he's getting each day, then your emails stand just as good a chance as everyone else's of not getting answered.

my suggestion is that you email him each day, and try to be the last email he gets at night, so that you'll be the first email that he sees in the morning because you'll be at the top of the list.
maybe email him at midnight every night or something like that.

have you tried asking him on his youtube channel?
I have asked a few questions on there and gotten responses in a few days.

one thing i feel comfortable saying is that Mike is not trying to steal your radio, and he did not mess it up and is afraid to tell you. He is a collector, and most likely has 10 of the radios you sent him in better condition than yours. (unless you sent him a Stoner Pro40, in which case he probably only has about three of them)

best of luck.
