Up for sale is a project radio that needs some work. The radio does not transmit. It is a radio that I had wanted to take to my local repair shop, but other projects are more paramount for me right now.

More photos on request. Asking $225 shipped via FedEx.

Yeah, that won't happen with this one. I have four of them and love them. This one doesn't transmit, so I figure I better let someone tech savvy work out the bugs.

The Dak line isn't for everyone, but they have the loyal followers (me included).

You guys are a real buzzkill. No wonder these classifieds are dead.

On another note, they are big and beautiful and that makes them worth the hassle.

eBay is my go to. Facebook is also a good one to use.

I never understand why people feel the need to post negative things on a persons classified ad. As if they have the only opinion that matters? I don't feel the need to do that to others, so it leaves me baffled.

Anyways, lesson learned. This section could use some moderation.

The WWRF sees a lot of classified ads. See lots of different radios and gear. But it is a very equipment savvy crowd.

Savvy is what we call being opinionated and inappropriate in this particular venue? Ok, we will go with that.

As a collector, I see value in all radios and appreciate them for what they were during the period they were released.

Some members here should look up the word "couth" and find another section to rant with personal opinions. Anyways, lesson learned. I figured I try an ad here, but better results are to be found elsewhere.

Take care.

It's an open forum with open comments, this is a great classified section. I've bought lots of great things here. Good luck on your sale.

At first we allowed comments and people complained so we disallowed comments in this section and people bitched so we reinstated comments. Now it has gone full circle and is starting it's second time around. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Such is the life of an admin/moderator. We used to have several on the site but it seems as if I am the only one around here most of the times and lately I have been trying to actually live my life. Unless it gets into a pissing contest or gets nasty things are pretty much status quo here.

Duly noted. I will be staying out of this section. Why people comment on something they have no interest in is beyond my understanding. Maybe they need to spend more time on the radio.

Have a great night everyone.
