Program menu item 16 CW ID to ON with code AH041M.

Put the radio into single VFO (A) mode. (Press and hold the A band button.)

Turn off the radio

Press and hold the HM/RV button and turn on the radio.

You will now be in the service menu mode.

Please write down all value before you make any changes.

Esse procedimento não deu certo ,o menu do cd não é o 16 e sim o 21 no meu vx8dr ok

Programe o item do menu 16 CW ID para ON com o código AH041M.

Coloque o rádio no modo único VFO (A). (Pressione e mantenha pressionado o botão A.)

Desligue o rádio

Pressione e mantenha pressionado o botão HM / RV e ligue o rádio.

Agora você está no modo de menu de serviço.

Por favor, anote todos os valores antes de fazer qualquer alteração.

Work fine for me on my yaesu vx8dr (us version, mars/cap modded by resistor removal). I use the code AH029M instead of AH041M in the 21:CW ID menu (don't forget to turn it on). Turn off password if any. Set (VFO) on single A band mode (frequency does not seem to be important but 144.000 is a good one). Power off the radio then power it on while holding HM/RV key just as describe in previous post. You're in. Turn the rotating knob to see (and note for reference prior to change) all your settings. Use V/M key to enable changes (a small hand will appears on the right), rotate the knob to change the value then use V/M key once again to validate. Exit service menu by pressing HM/RV key and/or switching power off.

By defaut I get
PLL REF 97
HIS SQL 0
THLD SQL 132
TIGH SQL 80
S1 LEVEL 42
S9 LEVEL 82
S1 LEVEL 62
S9 LEVEL 90
HI POWER 200

L2 POWER 78
L1 POWER 16
MAX DEV 105
100.0Hz 22(TN)

CONTRAST OFF

Please be very careful when making changes. If you don't know what to do at this point, just don't do anything and exit. I could not be responsible for any damage you may made yourself to your transceiver.
Hope this could be helpful 4U.
