My curiosity has got me. I'll ask the question differently
I'm not too familiar with the policies of YouTube.
I'm assuming there is a reason for YouTube to remove a particular poster.
What does it take for YouTube to remove someone's total library of posted video clips?
The poster and Clips in question have to do with CB Radio and the people who work on them.
Can someone who feels like they're being singled out or attacked by another YouTuber request that YouTube remove that person's total library of clips, and their Channel itself?
If there was an auto mechanic using video postings to obtain customers when that mechanic actually knows little to nothing about how to properly do repairs on an automobile, and someone singled them out for their lack of knowledge, and pointed out that that mechanic was basically robbing people and possibly putting them and anyone who got into their vehicle (after his work) in a dangerous situation, what would be a reason for YouTube to delete the clips warning others about this mechanic?
Could the mechanic himself complain to YouTube?
I'm assuming he would have to have substantial proof that he was being attacked falsely before YouTube acted in such a manner as to remove not only the videos warning about his shoddy work, but remove that person's Channel completely. What's the deal?

Since this is not YouTube and we do not follow the policies of YouTube you should really direct your question to YouTube if you want a legit answer.
Understood.
I do have a question that's applicable to this site.
Why would a question posted on this fourm need prior approval by an administrator before it can go public? Thanks. 73

I am not aware that this is required. When did this start? (n) Basically I am asking you what you are talking about? o_O That is not a policy of this site nor has it ever been.

This is the post I was requiring about.
It baffled me as it's something I've never seen before. My op is highlighted in green. "Awaiting moderation before being displayed publicly" as you can see shows up. Maybe I'm misunderstanding. I think there was a reply or two before that showed up. Maybe I should've posted my question in the anoucement area. Thanks. 73

OK now I know what you are talking about. When simply asking about "a question" it is hard to know WHAT question you meant. I hid that thread from public view. usually I delete threads or posts if the need arises but that time I simply hid it from view so it could be restored at a later time if it should be warranted. With all the crap that was going on about outing this person and identifying that person I saw that thread as a simple continuation so I hid it from view. Nothing nefarious going on and nobody needs permission to ask a question. Whenever a thread or post is hidden some browsers will give that message to the user.

No problem captain! I absolutely don't know what I would do without this site and the people who started, and run it. I actually agree with you. That person and the issue has probably been driven into the ground as much or more than it probably should have been. I'm fairly positive most people who stayed clear of him and people like him did so because it's this site that made them aware. I learned about those individuals here, and I'm thankful for that Without getting into it any further I will bid you adieu for now. And have a great Sunday up in the great white North my friend. 73 for now.

I do read the forums to get juicy snakey stories or find other butchers.

YouTube did not make me delete the channel but it came close to being deleted.
I had a couple of copyright strikes and a couple of community guideline strikes.
There were also pending privacy complaints. Frivolous or not if YouTube found against me one more time then poof I go away.

Per their own guidelines I never broke any rules. But they decided that I did.
I never doxed anyone unlike that POS snake oil customs or Windy Shitty communications.

YouTube has a loophole. If you delete the 'offending videos' or close the channel then all strikes and pending complaints are dismissed. So now you see why I opted for deletion and simply recreated the channel.

Some people think I am a troll. Okay. That's your opinion.
Others think I am doing a good thing and what I am doing is not too dissimilar to RNN.
I was featured on RNN and I thank RNN for doing what they are doing.

YouTube will remove someone if they get enough complaints about it.
Timmy, Windy Shitty communications and Jokerfail have been relentless in reporting me.

Windy shitty. I defended the guy against Timmy and when I refused to do a video on a radio he really did butcher up he got butthurt.
Now he is trying to come after me by leveraging Mikes radio repair and Mark19960. The guy is just another butcher that's butthurt because I would not exonerate him.
I only kept him out of it because he was sending me good stuff on Timmy. Until it turned into "please defend me!"
We already know about Timmy and Jokerfail. no need to explain those two.

But I have strayed off topic.
I hope that answered the YouTube question for you man.
Since I am under the gun constantly I have some knowledge of the YouTube complaints system. I can probably answer questions about my experience with it.

Understood. You have most likely saved many from making a huge and costly mistake.
I hope newbies, or those who can't repair/restore their equipment join this site or minimally do an www search on CB radio repair shops.
That search will most likely leed them here, and keep them away from the outright thief's.
It was three years ago when I myself called Tim.
I wanted to get my cosmetically mint (except for the clock not working) uniden Madison recapped, aligned, replace the clock with a freq, counter, and finally install a vfo.
When he told me his turn around time, and price I hung up the phone.
I was lucky enough to find someone who's restored everything I'm currently using, quickly and for a fair price.
Absolutely no a single complaint.
It's truly sad that there are individuals who take advantage of people in need, but that happens in every area of the repair industry.
From automotive to home repair.
With the world now at our fingertips it amazes me that people don't simply search the person who's going two repair their home AC unit, or change the brakes on the car before even considering that electrician or automotive mechanic.
I use the web to check every single person that I higher for a repair. Weather in be on my home, Automobile, get my clothes dry-cleaned etc etc etc.
I did learn quite a few things from the videos you posted. I still cannot and will never be able to work on my own equipment, but it was nice to know what should and should not be done. Something tells me you'll be back. If not I'm sure another will pick up the torch. Thanks. 73
