    Yaesu VX-8R unable to turn ON ARS

    I have some problem here turning on Repearter ARS in my VX-8R. When I enter #76 RPT ARS from the MENU, it indicate that the ARS is OFF. However I turned my knob, press the up and down arrow, I can't switch it on. I even reset my HT, but still the same. Any solution for this? Appreciate yours...

    Yaesu VX-8r mod - first on the internet!

    I did the mod on my new VX-8R. But I notice that if the tx frequency is less than 140.000mhZ, the voice is very very soft. Barely noticeable. I tested my VX-8R with 3 unit of FT-60R at 137.025mHZ, the voice is barely noticeable. But when I tune my VX-8R to 140.000mHZ the voice is loud as...
