I'm doing some spring cleaning and inspection on the al1200 and the ohmites white lettering is wiping off on the most of the inner resistors....the others are ok mostly.
Does that mean anything like they are getting too hot?

this is a 8719 and all modes sound like crap. you can make it out if you whisper but when you modulate full power it splatters about 50kc and sounds like complete crap.
Anyone heard this before? I changed c95 and no diff.
