    signal jammers

What are some of the ways people know of building a simple signal jammer? An old radio on a car battery does not count, unless it uses a 555 timer triggered by the signal meter to key the radio for 60 seconds after the agitator keys up. We have a real winner around us let me tell you.

    NVIS, Near Vertical Incidence Skywave

Has anyone here attempted to use a NVIS, (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave) antenna on 10 or 11 meters? If so what was it? A dipole close to the ground? How close? how well and often did it work? Really interested in trying this and I am going to but was just curious.

High power 1.1 balun for quad

Just curious if anyone has any experience with building a home brew 1.1 balun for a quad that can handle higher power, say 10KW. I know you can buy them and I have built smaller ones for various antennas. I would rather build this one as well. I am planning on building a 4 element quad for 10/11...

Checking interest. I have a 6x2sc2879 joker amplifier that I am thinking about selling. It has a large heatsink, smart fan (2 speed) and regulated class AB biasing. The amp is less than a month old and has been keyed a few times to test it. It is super clean in appearance and its signal as well...

Bias design, amplifier design, filtering etc.

Why not start a discussion about the various bias designs, filtering and just basic theory based around transistorized RF amplifiers. Swap ideas, schematics etc. etc. I will start off with my first intro into it. How many of you guys use a transistor to turn on the bias supply at keyup...
