I love my older President HR-2510, it works top notch for me. But, I also like the idea of having a radio that is mostly made in the good old USA (Ranger).
If I was to need to buy a replacement I would really consider the RCI brand. Cheaper price and very flexible.

Any ideas where I could find a copy of a users manual for a NC-173 receiver. It was built between the late 40's and early 50's. This thing covers broadcast-6 meter am and cw.

I found an old Turner Plus Three base micrphone for $30.00. I have read somewhere that these are supposed be pretty decent little microphones. Has anybody had any experience with these? How do they compare to an Astatic T-UG8 lollipop? I want to run the better of the two on my little HR-2510...
