102" Whip mounting help

I am thinking about getting a 102" whip, before i do were is the best place to mount it so it won't be directional. It will be going on a 88 Chevy pickup. I was thinking about the bumper on the passenger side were i had a 8' Shakespeare fiberglass antenna :confused:

Today i talked to Alabama, North Carolina and New York on my Connex 4600 Turbo on a Browning BR-78 in my pickup in IL. I go by wolf on the radio to :thumbup:

I just bought a Browning BR-78, was told it would out preform my mm9. Just thought i would get some opinions on the BR-78
