i have 2 vr9000 and i love mine the only problem i have had was a squeal from it when i turned the mike(d104)hand mike up any at all but i took it to a tec in louisville,ky he disconeconneted the talk back it elimatated the squel all to gather so when you get one take the talk back out rite away...

i have one and its a good radio i boute it new and its my understanding thats its a galaxy radio with a differnt name,there all the same radios its just who puts there name on it,its all the same in the inside and the board.just like my voyage,vr 9000 all it is is a galaxy 88 with no mike gain

supermog kit i used to one and i was expencering the same thing,back years ago then i found out about a supermog kit that will put more audio and a lot more swing,i bont know if they make them anymore but mine woked wonderfully.just a thought :wink:

i also have a golden eagle 1kw and im not sure if it is all orignal or if there has been some replacement parts mine does about 1300 with about 1/4 watt put into it im also interested in all i can learn about it any help would be apreciated.
