The one that I have.... The faceplate control locations are identical.. but mine does not have a modulation lamp.

It does not have the modulation lamp/indicator...... the color scheme is identical..... But it appears to be identical . Every control matches position perfectly. I will pull this down and take a look. Thanks!!!!

Dan, I am back again........ It looks like a radio .... GRAND PRIX D-1325RF Should be in CB-132. Can you check and see if you have that? Another member here has suggested that this could be a match for this "Smokey 23" that I just bought cheap. Thanks, Bob

Okay, for the face appearance, the Smokey is on the left. The board give you the general layout.... sort of.......

Here is the deal.... One of the two radios I just bought was a Smokey 23 "branded" radio. No tag on the back.... nothing. Possibly just a lower end product that some company threw out there just to "get on the bandwagon" back in the day. The reason I bought is... a friend has a "Smokey 23"...

For clarification.... Everything you described sound like an audio problem. Except.... you said..."transmit works fine". Are you including modulation in that transmit? Does modulation work in transmit??

Thinking a little. more..... I'm glad it went to a pickup desk at Dollar General. If it had gone to a home I would probably never see it again.......
