    Just got word back from Wouxun support. My KG-639E is a singleband radio ONLY! So no UHF band for me :( Guess this radio will still be kept s my backup VHF hunting radio. The UDP1 seems all the more tempting now... :)

    Thank you for your effort moleculo. I am (regretfully) starting to realize that I am coming up short here. Did some more searching and I don't think this particular radio can carry the UHF band. The antenna is marked as a VHF 136-174 antenna, so maybe the radio simply isn't fitted with an UHF...
