hey all..
wondering if it's a good idea to attach a ground strap from the mast to the tower to help dissipate static electricity?
i'm assuming the bearing might contain some form of grease, as well as the rotor maybe also restricting the grounding effects in one way or another.....would it hurt...
can't remember if i read it or not, but i'm wondering if one of the sirio antennas will fit directly onto a Wilson 5k magnet mount?

damn power wont stay on. powers up fine, but as soon as you release the power button she poops out
did a self-test on it while holding on the power and everything checks out okay, so prob just a new switch or maybe a relay?? i ain't no electrician lol...

question regarding a coaxchoke...will it reduce the noise level at the radio? both bases just seem a lot noisier than the mobile. Seems much harder to decipher voices...or are the rci radios just naturally...
