Is there really a murs radio made?

Those laws are not heavily enforced. I have a wouxun KG-UV6D that I use for FRS and GMRS. I have MURS programmed but I have never talked to anyone over it, I have listened to business though, several in my area are on MURS.

So I'd like a mobile CB, but I don't want no stinkin' antenna

Hey guys, I'd like to have a CB in my car, but I really think a CB antenna would look silly on it. This is what kind of car I drive, cept mine has prettier wheels and it's red. Can you guys think of anything that would work for me? I wish I could just put a dipole i n the trunk...

Almost all of the guys that take ag classes at my high-school have a cb. Almost all of them are the cheap cobra 19's, but its still cool. I'd get one but I dont want an antenna on my grand am.

    Durable HT frs capable?

Honestly I'm not crazy about having the screen and all the buttons if I don't need them. Also the UI on the baofeng seems confusing. I would prefer the channel nob on the icom even if I have to reprogram with my computer.

    Durable HT frs capable?

I saw This on icom's site. I think it fits the bill but I'm not sure how to program it. I found some icom programming usb cables but I'm not sure about what software I would need. Chirp made no mention of this radio, and neither does some of the Icom software.

    Durable HT frs capable?

I was afraid of that. Do you think the baofeng is tougher than the Wouxun or vice versa. Thanks for the help!

Hi guys, i'm looking for a HT for use in extreme emergencies that is capable of transmitting on the FRS frequencies. The Baofeng's have come to my attention but I would prefer something more durable for an emergency radio. What would you guys suggest? I would prefer to not need to desolder...
