I bought this radio from a retailer not a shop. Second I found the frequency mod for the channels. On the bottom of the board solder side on the front right side you will see a cluster of resistors soldered together going the the ppl chip. Just remove all of them and bammmm your done converting...

Got galaxy dx-33hp2 today freq mod is different from the old 33's anyone know how to do the channel mod on this new radio. Galaxy is of no help.

Im not sure. I was woundering if it uses the same board as the 33hp radio. I don't have the radio yet so i can't check it.

Already did they have nothing on the freq mod for this new radio.

Wanting to install trbx3 echo board in my cobra 2000 gtl and have a couple questions. I know pins 2 and 4 are ground so can I use either or both for grounding for the echo board? The instructions shows pins 2 and 4 as ground pins. Also where is the beter place for the 13.8v switched power. Thank...

Can someone please tell me where I can find a 8v transmit voltage on this radio. Going to install RFX-150 and need an 8v transmit voltage. Thank you

I do know the power of my stock radio. It is swinging 60-70 watts and im just needing to know if that is to much power for the rfx-150 board.

I like the idea of it being mounted to the radio instead of a seperate item with another jumper. I just need to know if it will work ok with the stryker 655hp.

Could I use the rfx-150 on my stryker sr-655hp or would it be to much drive for it? Thank you....

Just done my cobra 2000 and it swings like a monkey and is loud and clear. Thanks for the awesome mod....:thumbup1:

I really don't think turning up the mod a bit is going to make the radio blaze up in flames. :bdh:
