Check Resistor R165 (1.5K) for short-to-ground or resistance change........ If TR26 (NPN) is in the circuit and R165 is shorted or close to ground, TR25 (PNP) will turn on turning TR24 (NPN) on to ground out the audio. With TR26 out R165 will not make it to turn on TR25.

If the ink of the Logo (Toshiba) on the pill smears with alcohol ..... it's a fake (one of BBI's videos explains it) ...... real 2SC2879s don't smear. But there were some good fakes with a Day Code of "6J" that were very good fakes that worked very well.

What is going to the antenna is not a DC voltage it's an AC voltage at whatever frequency your radio is on, if the radio is working properly. One side of C149 has the DC voltage to feed the final and blocks the DC voltage from getting to the antenna, and at the same time is part of the tuning...

Those pictures look fine, but you have a hot combiner and one cooler pill. One way to tell if the capacitor on the input transformer is bad would be to swap the two caps (the big brown ones) from side to side. If you end up with a different cooler pill that's for sure your problem ..... But...
