I got the 5000 installed and tuned and it's walking tall.I'm using my Galaxy 919 w/Extreme 2018 Mic.I might get the 95T2 out and se what happens.:w00t:

Why is Wilson putting the cheap connectors on the coax and then including a PL-259 in the box?Why not just put the 259 on at the factory?:confused1:

Added a 2018 Extreme Mic to this radio yesterday and it really woke it up.I'm getting big compliments on this rig now.

Mine is just the single final version.

I bought a 919 and it arrived today.I did a light tune on it and I'm seeing 2 watt low and 5 watt high dead key with 28pep swing.I was wondering if this sounds right?I've heard of some getting around 45pep.I've got great reports on it so far.It's the mosfet version.Thanks

I believe I'll just let it ride.I'm getting good reports and it's got great ears.I can always throw some shoes on it later to get more power if needed.

Thanks stallion.I'm glad the 696 is up and running but one thing has me stumped.I'm not getting any more power with the 2030 than I was with the stock 1969.I know that this radio wasn't designed to be a pwer house but it looks like it should be doing more with the Fet installed.:confused1:

Sorry for the long delay.I got the 2030 and components installed.I keyed up and was showing a 2 watt dead key.As soon as I started to modulate I lost everything again:ohmy:I checked everything and come to find out it wasn't the final it was the driver that was bad.I had one laying around;put it...

I know that the factory driver can be used but I was wondering.What would be a better driver for the 2030 final?

Thanks stallion.The 1969 final shot and tomorrow I should have the parts to convert to mosfet.I'm adding a 2030 mosfet.I can't hardly wait to get it up and running again.
