Just click on the link and choose your radio. The 3400 has variable power, you should be able to just turn the ref power on the front.
On my Madison the audio is to tinny with a D104, I switched to a Turner Super Sidekick and that works well. The Uniden/President Madison is such a great old school radio. A DX 500v is perfect for that Madison I bet, nice.
It's a great combo for sure. You do have to credit a good bit of that audio quality to that high end desk mic you are running. With that mic you could run a Uniden 122xl and a KL203, people would swear you were on a 7300 or 2995.
The 93T is way too hot for any amplifier with a driver stage. That radio has a single 2290 final, it was one of the early higher powered radio's back in the day. To make it work with a 2 pill 2879 amp you will have to keep the power dialed back. A class AB or B biased 4 pill from one of the...

This is about the most information you will find for a Magnum S9. The channel/freq display board is a point of concern these days. The replacement part is no longer made, when they go bad your pretty much SOL.

I think you will need more then a cb tech for that radio. This is a very old model, even if you find a Yaesu repair person parts will be the next issue. Nice old school rig, looks like 1976-1979 production years. This Al guy can still work on them. Good luck...
