Nice chatting with the stations I talked to, it's pretty rough out there with the above-mentioned QRM, but I heard most everybody fairly well. (A CB forum is probably not the best place to arrange a ham radio roundtable... it's probably just asking for QRM issues. :ohmy:)

If you buy the ADMS-VX8 software from RT Systems, it will include the programming cable. The cloning cable is for cloning (copying the data) from one radio to another by connecting the two radios together.

I've had the ADMS software for a couple months now and it works great. I can't think of a single negative about it.
