Texas Ranger SRA-FC393 Frequency counter drift

I've noticed after it's on a while it just starts randomly drifting from 27 all the way down to 25 MHz . It does this no matter what radio it's on .. I don't suppose any of you fellers know of a solution for this problem?

Frankenstein project

I recently acquired a junk rci 2970n2 “I think” had a 2950 face but inside was a 2 pill amp section. The radio section has had parts scavenged and was beyond repair. However the amp section 2 Toshiba 2290 was untouched. So my question is has anyone ever used this amp section on a radio that it...

Amped up

So today I installed a rfx 85 in my pc 68 elite. It keys up about 3 watts but only modulates up to about 35. I've heard they will turn out about 75 pep so what Do I need to do to pump this little radio up .
