    Some more materials I found! (trying to help anyone who is curious)

    This one may be an even more helpful understanding of PLLs and how they work. The guy on this channel seems to have a NUMBER of really fine videos. They seem to be aimed more towards broadcast type receivers but, at a point, a receiver is a receiver. The technology is close enough.

    I've been studying these circuits lately and have discovered that there is one thing that I do not have a good sense for. When you take a scope and look at the reference oscillator test point or the VCO test point....what kind of level do you expect to see? Are we talking microvolts....or...
