Worked a friend from 75m...
W4DRA/Dave he was using his 75m dipole and 70 watts
I've got some bad transformer noise or something maybe farm equipment?

Got to get up the tower and get my antennas repaired. Wife want let me up there since I got sick. I have a 6 meter 6 element yagi at 55 feet.
I am in the process of restoring a Clegg 99'er. Would love trying some 6 meter AM.

What frequency is everyone monitoring?? I actually never messed with 6 meters as far as making a contact!! All these years and no 6 meter contact so who wants to be my first contact on 6???

50.125 usb is said to be the calling freq. When the band is open, will normaly be up from there. 50.400 is for AM.

50.250-280 Sometimes Digital JT65 etc...
50.000-50.080 CW Beacons (listen here to check band conditions)
50.060- 50.080 US CW Beacons (many around .067 & .072-80)

Lots of time band is open and everyone listening...
Call CQ...125...130...135..etc Long CQ's with all the guys using band scopes now they will find you...Hopefully
