So ... what's the best 10 meter radio folks?
Any radio that doe not have a channel selector and never displays 40...lol. In all seriousness its purely personal opinion as to which is the best. For me it probably be a Kenwood TS-50, Icom 706, 7000 or Yaesu FT-857 if is was to be used in the mobile.

There's a whole ton of disrespectful posts in this thread. If you wish to talk about some tech's personal life and the merits of porn increasing watts and lower noise floor, take it elsewhere - geesh folks! This is getting old.

Bearcat,
It's still unclear if you are looking for a 10m "export" that you can also use on 11m, or if you are looking for a good HF rig that you can grow into.

The Optima was considered to be one of the better 10m/11m SSB rigs but is no longer ini production. I think Camaro1 had one for sale on this forum. I don't know if it was sold. They also pop up on ebay from time to time. In that arena, I have only used an Optima and RCI 2950 (gen 1). The Optima is a much better radio.

I have heard good things from folks using the Anytone-666 too.

I'd still be more inclined to find a used HF rig, even if it was just for 11m, but then that might be illegal and you would get your details and mug shot posted in the middle of an antenna modeling thread :p

I didn't miss anything I was the one that broke the story

Then you missed the newspaper report where he said he didn't think nude pictures of children were against the law unless they were committing sexual acts. He said he had no idea what he had on his computer was wrong. Pretty much an admission of guilt.
