I just picked one of these up for a few bucks at a gargage sale. It is real old - a 23 channel base station, but in excellent shape.

Anyone ever run one of these?

Talked all over the world with one of those ,was my first ever base unit ,can be modded for extra freq's with more cystals ,very nice and crisp audio. Did most of my skip talking on the lower freq's.....NO POWER !!! ......those old Cobra 85 Dynascans got soul ,,,,that should be vintage 1975....if you should need any parts for that ? I got them ...also have the extra relay with the cyrstals around it for the extra channels.....you got yourself a nice little base there if you can find the time to believe in it........sometimes I think with most all radios ........when it comes down to it .....it's all about the big antenna in the sky.
