RV's and Palm Trees at the beach? Really?

Here's how the Boys from the notorious N6HOG repeater did it. This was at over 8400' elevation and we had line of site to your beach front set-up. And a lot less noise I bet!

This was set up at Guffy Campground in the Angeles National Forest, above Wrightwood, CA.

We passed under the ski lifts at Mountain High Resort on the way up. This was looking North into the desert.

Three members talking past Mole's location, to the Catalina Island repeater 80+ miles away. 4 Watt's on a Baofeng made it full slam!

Gregg/IUJ working 2M weak signal. He made contacts as far as Mammoth Lakes and Las Vegas (both 200+ miles away) on SSB with a 5 element beam...

See the visor he's wearing? The spikey hair is part of the visor, but it matches his hair pretty closely. After a buddy met Gregg and had a few beers, Gregg lifted the hat off and I thought my buddy's eyes were gonna pop out of his head. Took him a few seconds to figure it out. lmao
