Picked it up off ebay recently for a steal. Was really excited that everything worked on it.

BUT... is anyone here familiar with this particular amp? I tried Google, and got no where.

Any info on it would be great.

popular back in the late 80`s ,very common back then .its your basic 150 watt amp .in that configuration thats about 150- 200 peak tops .drive it with 2-3 watts or whatever gets you a 75 watt deadkey out the amp and let it swing .
its an amp like any other ,just treat it as such and have fun.

Thanks for the reply!

My current setup is as follows:

Amp = 14.75 Volts

Galaxy 959
(14.25 Volts) 3 Watt DK. Swing to 10 Watt AVG.
Amp on LOW.... DK = 40 Watts, Swing to 80 watts with voice, 90 with a whistle.
Amp on HIGH... DK = 65 Watts, Swing to 90 watts with voice, 100 with a whistle.

Readings are from a super old school ParaDynamics PDC 600. Reading AVG. With a Home Made DiPole in the back yard.

These numbers dont seem to be any different than any other similar radio/amp combo.

Tell me if im wrong.
