Does the current (Blue) 203P or 200P need mod or jumpers moved for 11m??

I heard the 200 uses transistor and 203 mosfet.. I think I prefer the 200.

The radio (McKinley) has variable DK low of 1.5w in AM mode so no worries..

The 200 is class "C" biased and sound bad on SSB. The KL-203 is a better choice than the KL-203P. The "P" is a wide band noise amplifier and is pretty much useless.
The fet's in the KL-203 is easily replaced with standard fet's available commercially.

Also do not over drive because these are very sensitive to input levels, and not just dead key either.
To much swing will send it to the technician or trash can.

Do you need to move a jumper or solder a trace on the new model 203P to get widebanding and 11m??

If so any one got a pic?

I bought a 203p from H and Y a long time ago, and didn't have to do anything to play on 11 meters. Worked quite well with a Grant XL.
