Anyone try one of these? They look to be very well built. How much power do you think they would handle? (according to varioius coil diameters)

(how do you post a link?)

When you post, on the left hand side of the page:

Make sure the Formatting is selected as ezCodes, then under Comment: you will see were you can insert any of the options listed in the gray boxes.

when you select a option, a pop-up will do just that and you can insert a URL, then click OK, now in the pop-up box you can type the name, or describe the link and click OK.

It will insert the link into the text.

For more info on ezCode features click Here or click on the <span style="text-decoration:underline">(?)</span> in the Formatting area.

Hope that helps <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Hello 2DX727:

I agree with Doc there, those Bug Catcher Antennas work great on the lower Ham Bands. One of the locals used a Bug Catcher that had a custom control panel made for it.

He had the Motor that adjusted the Coil Tap, controlled by a small box that was able to remeber his favorit settings. He was a big 80, 40, and 20 meter user. He use to be a local radio repair guy, and was one of the best.

He had a paddle Morse Code Key he used to fine tune the antennas SWR, by adjusting the antenna motorized tap on the tuning coil, very inpressive.
