TS-180s 11 METER MOD


There was a WARC band kit for the 180. From what I've read, it took several coils and other misc. parts. Based on that, I think you are outta luck unless you want to hack the PLL circuit, and then you would probably take out the other bands as a result. It doesn't appear to be a simple jumper/diode cut hack like the 120, 130, 140, etc. I can't find a single successful MARS/CAP mod listed for the 180 in a google search...

There isn't one for the TS-180S. I've owned two of them. Works well on the hammy bands though :glare: Not a good radio for CBers to hack because theres really nothing to clip, snip and no "VR's" to run wide open. Awwwwww...:D
