Two different types of coax on the same setup?

So...would there be any downside to running rg8x on the "high side" of a linear amplifier going to the antenna and using rg58 on the "low side" to the radio where there is less power going through it?

Ideally I'll have enough rg8x to do both sides....but jic...I thought I would ask.

We are talking about run of less than 30 feet total.

Yeah with the new set up in am getting very good reports of llivery clear communication with a solid (but not overly modulated) signal.
