Who Made This Antenna?

hello i have this base loaded antenna i want to someday use with a 102" whip its a base load,

on the side it has an A like the picture shows and says in small print
"stripes Of Quality"

i want to clean up the aged oxygenation on it and use it someday soon.
any info?

That looks like an "Antenna Specialists" antenna from the 1970's. It should work fine. If you have the base mount for it. But you must use the whip that came with it; it wont work with a 102 in steel whip. Use either one; but don't try to mix them - it won't tune SWR properly. Wasting your time. If you have an 102 in steel whip; I would use that instead. Much better antenna.
 
That is made by Antenna Specialists they were also the maker of the famous Super Scanner beam antenna. They were a great company and reasonable in pricing. Does that one have a model number on it?
 
i couldnt find the base mount for it and it doesnt have the whip right now, but i could always look up the length and cut or buy another whip for it, and locate a base mount that will work for it,

question now is how great of an base mount was this? being its base loaded, it seriously looked like a knock off or cousin to whats on bandits T/A
