F. Noise Blanker Bd Alignment (7H044)

1. Connect a rf signal generator to the radio antenna connector. Set to 23.5 MHz at a level of -50dbm (700uv) with no modulation.

2. Tune L401 and L402 for at least 1 VDC downward deflection at TP 1.

3. Place the radio in LSB receive and modulate the generator (23.5 MHz) at 1 KHz 50% AM. If the blanker is operating properly a 1 KHz tone will be heard on the receiver.
