Working lots of overtime through the end of NEXT year trying to hit deadlines on several projects running simultaneously. Saving up my pennies for a Sweet 16.
All amplifiers do have GENUINE, ORIGINAL Toshiba 2SC2879 transistors in them...... One of the Sweet Sixteen's has Toshiba transistors that may not be genuine Toshiba's, but have, and do, perform very well..... Every bit as well as genuine Toshiba's if their not genuine.....
All have wiring upgrade.......
All work very well .......
Couple of DX350V's ....... $600 ea.
Several DX500V's ..... $1100 ea.
Three - DX1600 Sweet Sixteen's ...... $1700 ea.
I will provide box and packing material for shipping and pack amplifier securely.....
If buyer prefers to furnish box and packing material (such as taking to FEDEX or UPS store for packing), subtract $100 for price of amplifier...

These are very good prices for Texas Star amplifiers with original Toshiba transistors.....
Has Texas Star closed their doors? You have some unique amps because I have not been able to find a source for a new Texas Star amp. Is the wiring upgrade an improvement from OEM?
The wiring upgrade definitely improves the performance of all the Texas Star amplifiers......

What exactly is the wiring upgrade? Is it an optional "upgrade kit" available from Texas Star?
I prefer to buy from a member of the forum, and I'd like to know what is the "wiring upgrade". Did TS skimp on the quality of wiring?
Is it safe to assume the "upgrade" was the replacement of the original positive and negative power cables?
My thoughts.
The power wires are too small, my now very old 500 has 8 gauge directly to each board.
The factory fuse holders have been by passed and removed because they will fail under hard use.
I ran the positive directly to the second battery with my fuse at the battery and the ground goes to the frame.
Original Toshiba 2979 transistors are now $200 each from ICA and RF parts sells used 2879's that have been tested for $129
