I love my FT-857 and my FT-897 I havent bought battery packs for my 897 yet but plan on it but also have been looking to see what the battery charger costs and cant find any info on them let alone find the charger or an image of it on the net. I do like how the 897 tuner is mounted right to my radio. I have a Yaesu FC-20 tuner for my 857D that works well with the radio and is good for HF-6 meters.
