Well to keep it short I started out hanging out (14 years old) with a bunch of old guys (family friends) who were on the CB and they, had heaters, ran Cobra 2000's and really nice rigs, antennas' etc... Well they gave me a a Cobra 142, with a D-104, Turner super sidekick and a Cobra Desk mic. ( They were in Love with my sister , lol) . I managed to keep all of that up to the age of 56. But life got in the way. I always thought I'd find my way back into CB sooner.But over the last few years I spent buying test equipment, new, radios, meters, a lot of stuff, $$$$$ Put me in debt, but now I am making my final Shack. So I am here to get caught up on the latest talk. lol OK I guess that the gist.
