I have an aluminum puck mount that is mounted to aluminum and after a year or so the mount gets corrosion on it. Any conductive paint or coating or other I could use to stop it? Thanks.
Yeah same here. I did a quick search and found some but it said it was magnet wire and then at walmart it had resistance wire in the auto section. Maybe they used magnet wire LOL. Never know.
I purchased a driver extreme silver bullet 66 inch top load antenna. It says it can handle 1500 watts, and it says it uses 15 gauge wire. Can 15 gauge wire really handle that much power? Can it handle the 400ish pep watts I run through it? Thanks in advance...
I have it mounted on the top of a Jeep. I do have the 27-in shaft but it's a couple inches too long around here so I have a 17 inch and a 9 in which is 2 inches shorter but makes a difference driving around and I was just thinking of it because I always hear longer shaft is better.
