    Hi, Y'all! I have a Lafayette he-43C inbound and I really can't find much on the web about it. Was this an export model made for a specific market? I bought it because it's a somewhat unusual design (crystal transmit and a Rx VFO) and it looks cool! 73, Justin B.

    Thanks for explaining how to decipher the version number. Radio wound up with a couple of weak tubes and the 32.750 crystal is apparently bad taking out channels 5-8. Crystal is on order from Ken's and will hopefully be here before long.

    Thanks for the docs! Just received my '223 FleaBay rescue today. Plugged in and deaf, cleaned tube sockets and it's alive! Audio output seems a bit low but tube check OK so maybe a cap... Justin B.
