    I need to some assistance with a buying microphone. Here is what I have. I have Cobra 142 GTL and W2IHY 8 band EQ with some a Behringer VX2496 mic preamp/Processor, and a Behringer DSP Feedback Destroyer 1100. The mic I am currently using is a Audio ATR30. Here is my dilemma, while listening to my audio in head-phones superb audio, but when I am on the air everything is different. Don't get me wrong it is not all that bad. But do I really need another microphone? Perhaps a Heil PR30, or something else. Can I get some assistance from the audio kings. Thanks in advance.

    I have a Cobra 142 GTL that has a 5 pin mic plug. I have a w2ihy 8 band eq, that has a 4 pin mic adapter with the 5 pin din plug to the output. Can someone please assist me with the 5 pin wiring order into the radio? Thanks
