I have been into CB radios since the bug bit me in 1979, it was still going strong here in South Africa at the time, I have been on and off the air for the past 25 years and still it grabs me when I hear someone yapping on the 27 uppers .
I own a Royce 642 home base as well as a Royce 639 and as spare I have a Cobra 148 GTL and a GE B model all from the late 70's I think I am addicted to retro units well that's what my handbrake tells everyone.
