pin 3 wire> PTT switch> pin 5 (ground/shield). No resistance.Hello!
I would like to try an amplified dynamic microphone with the Q6PRO radio. My question is, how can I connect the PTT wire directly to Gnd? Or do you need resistance?
Tnx!

Service menu, if you don't know what you are doing, stay out......
This method no longer works. It was removed by the factory on all new versions because of the mistakes being made by people without the knowledge or the test equipment needed. In case the video goes away, the procedure is:
Hold PTT, Mode and Memory while powering on.
That's why the software tool was created. It's a barrier to entry that will stop most basic users from even attempting adjustments, (the same ones who made the keypad service menu mistakes in the past) but for those PRO users that need it, the PC tool is the keys to the castle. We've seen our fair share of golden screwdrivers come through here crying about the brick they created.
It's probably best to make these new radios GOLDEN SCREWDRIVER PROOF.
