so it seems 8=white audio 6=red-transmit 7=shield+black hum only 3 wires so on 4 pin cobra 1=shield 2=audio 3=trans 4=black wire or do i keep shield and black on pin 0ne ???

is a kenwood ts-440s a good starting radio i found one that i might be able to buy for around $200 or $225 i have my 101e but the drift is getting to me after a while even though it was just service
