Well, I know I have a lot more brain farts since I retired, or should I call them senior moments.
Kinda like standing out in the garage for 1/2 an hour wondering what I went in there for.
This is the one on CB Tricks. Is it different than this? I see a Centurion +, but I don't know if it's different than the one you have. SAMS

I have brought out my late father in laws SBE Console II radio. It has a Glen 326-1 Digital VFO hooked up to it. I have cleaned the pots and switches for the most part. I brought it up with a dim bulb and it appears to be working. I had it on channel 27.385 on the VFO and it did receive...

KLE-3820, I use 3820 or WDX3820.
My license number, I believe, was just before the FCC started issuing the 4 letter prefix to the license number due to the large number of CB licenses that had been issued.
Just my .02 cents. I had a 2510 that was dropping out on xmit. Had some intermittent issues. I sent it to DOCS as he was the man on these...no offense to Rogerbird as he's a guru as well, and he spent some time on it and found that the issue was the 477 being insulated. He fixed that and did all...

I've a couple of C-64's in the storage container, haven't plugged em in for years. My first computer, and I had BBS online with it before the days of the internet and about the same time as FIDO net.. Online with a whopping $1000 dollar 20 meg hard drive.
Moved to an Amiga and still have a...
I like the ceramic tools, but you do have to be careful. I have a HOZAN D-272, but they are expensive.
The 1.3 x 30 I think works a little better than the Hoan 1.8.
Vessel no 9000 1.3 x 30 also kinda expensive.
I don't think the technology is quite up to snuff yet, and factor in the calculated obsolescence and life expectancy, it could become quite the money pit. Plus your still on the hook for whatever the basic fees are if you're tied into the grid. And if you have to pay someone to do the work in a...
